The Two Ways Of Selling Your Property At Auction

AUCTION 1: On the fall of the gavel the Buyer shall pay a deposit £1,500 to Properties Under the Hammer Auction Limited and contracts shall be exchanged immediately. In cases where sales are agreed before or after Auction and Properties Under the Hammer Auction Limited have a full auction pack, exchange of contracts occurs on the Buyer signing the Auction Contract and payment of the deposit. Completion of the transaction would be effected within a further 28 days from the date of exchange.

AUCTION 2: On the fall of the gavel or acceptance of an offer by the Seller, the Buyer shall pay a non-refundable deposit of £1,500 to Properties Under the Hammer Auction Limited and sign the Memorandum of Sale which shall state exchange of contracts will occur within 28 days and completion 14 days thereafter.

Setting the Price

The auction price will be guided by a professional valuation and appraisal of your property. We will leave you the seller in total control of setting the reserve price. We will set a suitable guide price to enable you to get the maximum price for your property.


In case of a successful purchase on the auction date the Buyer pays a non-refundable deposit. Should they choose to withdraw from the property sale there deposit will be forfeited.
